If I haven't received my mortgage tax papers yet what should I do?

Wait on them to arrive.   It's common for them not to arrive yet.   They have until January 31 to mail them.   If you don't receive them by then, contact the mortgage company to troubleshoot.

It's not completely clear by what all you mean by "mortgage tax papers."
But I assume you are referring to a Form 1098 (mortgage interest statement) as well as a statement of any real estate taxes (property taxes) that were paid in 2017, etc.

If you're concerned, you can phone the mortgage company to quickly learn if the papers have been mailed, or when they expect them to go out.

Many mortgage companies have that info available online or on their automated phone system so you can try those ways until the form comes in... also many send the 1098 form with the January billing so look there as well.
