If I haven’t received my first theee stimulus checks yet should I expect those first or the newly sent stimulus of 1400 first? This is my first years filing and I’m trying to not be impatien

The IRS is no longer sending out first and second stimulus payments. If you did not get either payment, you may not get the third $1,400 payment (there are only three payments, not four).

 

Not getting either one of the first two payments means the IRS probably doesn’t have your information on file. The only way to get all three payments is to file a 2020 income tax return.

The first two payments will be included in your tax return. The IRS will send the third separately.
