If i have submitted, it is pending, waiting for accepted, does that mean I'm done

Yes, but the return must be accepted before you are truly done.  If it rejects, you will need to fix the error.

Yes, if you are in pending status, you have filed before the deadline. 

You have to follow up and make sure the return is accepted. If your return gets rejected, you have to make corrections and re-submit it within five days.
