Did you choose to get your refund on the new Turbo Prepaid Visa Card you were offered when filing?

If so, the bank account and routing number specific for your Turbo prepaid card are all handled behind the scenes by  TurboTax and Green Dot.  They send the numbers for your card to the IRS and/or the State.  You do NOT have to notify the IRS or your state tax agency.

Here's the paragraph from one of their FAQs:

Wondering how we get your refund onto the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card?

"When you choose to get your Federal tax refund deposited to a Turbo Prepaid Visa Card, TurboTax works with Green Dot to get the right account info to the IRS (and/or the State) to make sure the money gets put on your card. As soon as the IRS approves your refund, the money gets electronically deposited to your card—simple as that!"
