If I got my stimulus money and it shows an amount on line 30 is that why I didn't receive my refund?

Please be aware that the Recovery Rebate Credit amount was included in the total refund amount shown in TurboTax. Please check line 30 for the Recovery Rebate Credit and see line 34 for your total refund.

If your received refund is less than line 34 it might be that the IRS adjusted your Recovery Rebate Credit because their records show the stimulus payments as sent. If you received Notice 1444 in the mail but have not received your payment as mentioned in the notice, then you need to request a trace. Please see How do I request a payment trace to track my first or second Economic Impact Payments? for details.

Turbo Tax automatically added $1100 on line 30 of my return when I specifically said I’d received both checks. Line 30 should've been $0. This glitch seems to exist for early filers (see Reddit and FB). An absolute ton of people are having this issue. What is Turbo Tax doing to fix this? And am I supposed to Amend my return now? Or will the IRS remove the rebate?

You do not need to do anything.

The IRS will adjust your tax return should they determine you received both stimulus payments and notify you of the changes.

You will not need to amend your return.
