If I got a demand notice for payment in the mail, did Turbo tax make a mistake?

I got a letter in the mail from the IRS stating I owe more money. Was that Turbo's mistake?

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

What tax year is the IRS indicating?  What is the notice or letter number in the upper right corner of the first page, usually preceded by either a CP or LTR?

in 2 to 3 weeks maybe longer because of the  IRS backlog you should receive a letter of explanation.

I don't see the number in the corner that has CP or LTR.

I have:

Liability Number:

Notice Number:

Date issued:

tay payer ID:

Form number:

DLN:

Account ID:

Liability period:

Tax Type:

Those are the only numbers that I see in the right hand corner.

What are the Notice Number, Form number, Liability period, and Tax Type?

It sounds like this is not the first notice you have received from the IRS. You may have ignored previous notices. This is a reminder of the payment due that the earlier notices told you about. The first notice that they sent you would have explained why you owe more money. The notice number will help to clarify the situation.
