If I forgot to include the Federal ID number for my unemployment benefits, what will happen with my return?

If your return is accepted, it is possible nothing will happen, however you may get a letter from the IRS requesting the information you did not include on your return.

If your return is rejected for any reason you can simply add the Federal ID # when you fix the rejection issue.

Thank you so much! I actually just got the confirmation that my return was accepted! That's a huge relief, I was pretty worried about that. Thanks again!
