Yes, if you had your bank information on your return & it is still valid, you will receive your stimulus money by direct deposit.

@Msshataquakenon23  The IRS is going by the information on your 2019 return (or 2018 return if you do not file a 2019 return).  They will use the information on your return to deposit your money, which should be the card.

Yes, your state refund will go on the same card as your federal refund unless you selected to have it go onto another card. The state may not come at the same time as your federal, because one comes from the IRS, and the other will be coming State Department of Revenue.

@ncbiggboyy41    That applies to any card (as long as the card is active), it is what is on record with the IRS.

@Kristi041281  The stimulus money will go on the information you have on file with the IRS.  If there is banking information for your card, your stimulus money will be deposit on the card.

@Chrishard96  Since you filed a 2019 return, the IRS will use your banking information from your 2019 return.  If your card is still active,  your stimulus money will be deposit on the card.

@Kathsepsa  I have put in a question to the TurboTax Moderators asking what is going to happen with tax payers who used the Refund Processing Service.  Since this is the weekend I have not heard anything yet.  If I do, I will post it here.  The bank that handles the service has the following on their website.

In 2018 when I filed taxes I opted for a TurboTax card for my refund. Once my refund was gone, I figured I didn't need the card anymore so I threw it away. When I filed my 2019 return, I again opted to use TurboTax card. Instead of throwing it away again, I kept it in my purse. When the stimulus check does hit, will it come on my 2019 TurboTax card?

What if turbo tax has my banking info but I’ve used the option to have the cost to file deducted from the refund, which means it goes to turbo tax first? @bluedeb

I read that the stimulus money will not be deposited on any turbo tax cards. It has to be a legit bank account.

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail. -IRS.GOV
