If I filed my state and federal separately does that mean I can't file my state now that my federal has been accepted I have to wait to next year to file my state ??

Please rectify my best solution for this mistake bc I didn't want not get my state $. I was confused accidentally did this and my federal e-file is accepted

No, you do not have to wait to file your state return.  If your federal return was accepted,  you can e-file it.   If you did not e-file it at the same time as your federal return, though, you will still have to pay the fee to file it.  That fee cannot be deducted from your federal refund since you did not file them at the same time.
