If I filed Apr.19.2020 and my taxes were accepted whats taking so long

The IRS has not been processing tax returns for awhile due to staff shortages and the stimulus payment launch. They have now been processing returns for the last few days. In normal times, the IRS processes returns within 21 days for most filers. Some even took longer in normal times. There's no way to predict how long yours will take. All you can do is track the status using the IRS tracking web site: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

So the IRS is now processing taxes again for sure? I filed mine March 30th and still nothing....

That was a comment someone made a few days ago. I have not personally verified it.
