If I file an amended return will it stop the current approved return... my taxes got approved and suppose.to be in the bank by the 22nd but I need to file and amended return so my husband can file hi

When e-File is blocked because of your (or someone else's) filing error, 
your husband has no choice he must file on paper via US Mail.

For both returns to be consistent, you may need to amend, so go ahead, but doing so isn't going to change that fact.
