If I can't find my W-2, can I still file with my IRS 1040 Transcript?

If your transcript shows your W-2, doesn't that mean you found it?

Yes, you can file using your transcript.  The transcript doesn't have your state information and the federal identification number for your employer.  

I would recommend that you try to get your W2 form from your employer.  This way you would have the complete form and use the transcript as a final resort.
