If 90days has passed and the status for an e-filed fed return has not been updated, individual hasn’t been able to get through to an IRS rep. Any help?

Head of household, state was processed successfully, no extras just 2 dependents. Submitted for EIC

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday

IRS has changed the prompts.

 

New procedure --
While robot is giving you options, say "I need to speak to an agent"
When it asks for your reason,
Say "Account Management".

 

Use the call-me-back-when-agent-is-free option.
