identity verification

so I got flagged for identity verification I don't have any of the financial accounts to verify online. I call to TRY to verify and no matter if I call the number on the letter or any other I find it say they have a high volume of calls and because of the subject I choose they cannot take my call! this is cut and dry  [removed]!....my life sucked before covid and it will suck after but playin with people's livelihood, their sanity, and ultimately their survival is just plain mean! I guess most people don't identify with the daily struggles of being poor....but I'm going without alot RN. I NEED THIS RETURN! WHAT DO I DO!

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic, the IRS is experiencing extremely high call volume and major delays. You might want to try calling them early in the morning once they open at 7am local time. In the interim please review this link for further information on identity verification including alternate methods of verifying should you be unable to do so via phone.
