I would like to download my 2015 tax return with worksheets. I can't seem to make that happen.

When you downloaded the 2015 PDF from the 2015 Tax Timeline, it did not have the worksheets?    For most people, the default 2015 PDF in the Tax Timeline is the version with all the worksheets.

If that PDF file in the 2015 Tax Timeline doesn't have the worksheets, then the only other way to get them would be to phone TurboTax Support and ask  them if they will offer you a complimentary 2015 software download.  Then you can download the *.tax2015 data file from your Tax Timeline, and open your return to view/print the worksheets.

This time of year, support hours are 5AM-5PM Pacfiic (8AM-8PM) Monday-Friday, so there's no need to try tonight.

No, following these instructions I only get the pdf of the tax return and no worksheet option.

For 2015, there is only one PDF download link in the Tax Timeline.  There is not a separate link for a PDF with worksheets.  For most people the default 2015 PDF does have the worksheets.  If yours does not, then you'll need to phone Customer Support as I mentioned above.

OOPS!   I had just posted a link in error here about a known problem with getting worksheets for a 2016 return, and you may have been emailed that link.   That won't apply in your circumstance.   You're situation is with a 2015 return PDF.   The FAQ in that removed comment was for a 2016 return, so please ignore it.   Sorry about that.

   Did you talk to TurboTax Support, and were they able to explain why you didn't have worksheets in your 2015 PDF file?

You also asked about 2016 worksheets.   If you were unable to get the 2016 worksheets by clicking "Download all forms and worksheets" in the Tax Timeline, you be experiencing the issue described in the FAQ above.  However, you can try this alternate method to see if you can get 2016 worksheets.  But some people have had trouble with this method, too.  But here is the info if you want to try while TurboTax is investigating this issue:

    In the 2016 Tax Timeline, go to "Some things you can do."
    Choose "Add a State."  (you don't really add one; that's just to get the return to open up.)
    Once the return is open, then click on MY ACCOUNT up at the top.
    Then choose PRINT CENTER.
    Choose to "print/save/view this year's return."  You may have a choice for a PDF "as filed with government" and one with "all forms for government and worksheets" and one for "all forms."

Are you able to get the worksheets with one of those PDFs?

NOTE:  Do NOT use this method to open a return to make changes to an already-filed return (one that has actually been mailed or efiled.)   If you later need to make changes, you have to go through the formal amending process, and your return must start off exactly as originally filed.

Here's how to download/print a 2015 return:

Log in and in the top left corner click on MY TURBOTAX, then in the dropdown choose MY TAX TIMELINE.

If the only thing that is evident is the 2016 info, then on a line underneath that look for a faint blue link in the lower right corner that says "Load Tax Timeline", and then it should display other years.

In the 2015 Timeline, scroll to a section called "Some things you can do."

There should be a link for "Download/print the PDF."

If there is no evidence of a 2015 return at all, we can tell you how to look for multiple accounts.
