I work my husband don't I filed him on my taxes has a dependent.i am taking care of both of us..will that mess up my taxes

Yes and a big mess.  A spouse can NEVER be a dependent.   You file a joint return even if only one spouse has an income.   If you actually claimed him as a dependent then you must amend and remove that and file properly.
