I was trying to track my refund using the app IRS2Go but i always get an error message and that my info i entered is invalid how is this possible i type it correctly?

Provided that you are entering all of the requested information correctly, it simply means that your return has not begun to process yet. Continue to check daily-the IRS updates the information every 24 hours and your information will appear once your return is processed.

Apparently the IRS2Go app and website sometimes takes up to a week to update. This includes if you filed and were accepted, but the app/website says your information does not match. You information is correct, so don’t worry about that.
Mine took six days to even update at all, and by that time, the IRS had already approved my taxes straight away. So I went from “your information does not match” to “approved” with a date posted of when my return will be deposited! Hopefully this is what’s happening to you!

Actually this is not always correct. I kept getting an error message and still do. I received my refund a few days ago but still get the error. So I thought maybe I had issues with my info so my daughter entered her info on my Samsung note irs2go app, I got the same error for her info. I reinstalled the app and still get the same error message.

@nin397 hello I know this is a year old but I was able to login and now it’s giving me an error saying my info does not match. Is this what happened to you? And you still got your refund? Thanks

@nin397 it's doing the same to me :( I e filed my taxes on the 7th and have already got my state but no federal. I can't find the status of my federal return anywhere..

Same for me. I filed and was accepted 2/1/19. I have my state back. IRS2GO says no match found. Frustrating

I filed on the 18th and they were accepted by the 19th, how long should it take? And is this why I get the info don’t match msg?

Mine is doing the same! I tried the website & app. Filed on 2/22 was accepted 2/23, already received my state along with my b/f state & fed. I called the refund number & it says it’s been received and being processed but online it says info entered is wrong

I filed 2/21 my taxes have said processing this WHOLE time. Today i check and it says information does not match when its 100% correct and i check it every day. No matter if i call use the website or app. :(. Any ideas?

I filled January 2 and mines say the same thing as well the info that you have entered does not match please reenter your information and it's the correct information and then it tells you we cannot give you any information about your refund at this time this is the worst tax year ever I never waited this long

Instead of putting "head of household". I put (single) and this popped up [Your tax return is still being processed.]

[A refund date will be provided when available]

Let me know if that works.

I understand that taxes would be delayed due to the shut down. But geez, I filled my taxes 1/29 with an estimated refund date of 2/19. It is now the second week of March and I still don't have it. I've tried to access my IRS2Go app multiple times and it keeps saying my info doesn't match when I know it's correct. I've never had to wait on a refund this long. I'm highly disappointed.

Update it Lowry me access it 4 days ago with my normal HOH. Next day i couldnt access it at all. now let's me access it with  "single". And says processing and refund date will be provided when available

 I’m still having issues. Filed on January 25 was excepted on January 29 was able to check the app and everything was fine but a week after that it’s saying my information was incorrect. Google it and saw it said put single instead of HOH that worked but just said is still being processed and now it says it is being processed. I’ve called the IRS twice they say it’s still processing because I wanted to see if I had any other errors as I had to verify my identity. This is been so frustrating I’ve never had this issue ever.

Yep, I had to identify my identity this year too. Not sure why but it's the first time and all they tell you to do is wait up to 9wks but I called Judy after 6wks only to find out that someone submitted my ID verify incorrectly so it was correctly done on 4/18/19 and I was told that it shouldn't take 3 more wks. I called almost a week later on 4/24/19 to check the status because I was told that the status bar should appear in 24hrs. When I called them they said I had to allow 9wks from the 18th since was correctly submitted. I hung up and called back 4 different times and have even tried to get and advocate but was told advocates can't help those who have to complete the ID verify.  My message in the go app changed from your tax return is still being processed, a refund date will be provided when available.... to we've received your tax return and it is being processed. Now I check today and it's saying my information doesn't match..... this is crazy.  It was accepted on 2/12/19. I've never had to wait this long ever!
