Told by whom??? Did you speak to the IRS?
TurboTax doesn't have a bank of its own but uses a third-party bank to receive a refund if you chose to pay the TurboTax product fees out of the Federal refund. Did you choose that option to pay your product fees?
And has the IRS released and sent your refund? What is shown when you check at the IRS website?

If that IRS tool shows your funds were sent (or if you spoke to the IRS and they confirmed it), and if you chose to pay any fees out of the Federal refund, you can check with the third-party company (SBTPG) that handles that. SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group) has a refund lookup tool on their website.
To log in, choose the "For Taxpayers" portal then choose "Check with TPG."

If you used that option and need to speak further with SBTPG, there is a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours. Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.
