I was e-filing my taxes and I ran into a question that involved digging out some ppwk. I missed the deadline by 8 mins and filed at 12:08. Will IRS still accept my taxes?

Yes still file the return and it will be accepted.

Thank you. I did file it. I signed it still on the 4/15 however by the time I entered everything at the end it was 12:08 so it said I e-filed on April 16 ???
