I want to track my refund but it says that I haven’t filed or the TurboTax website wires are crossed why is this?

I'll be pissed if we don't get our money! Will never use TT again, especially since we opted for their card instead of putting in our other bank info

You can check your e-file status by following the instructions below. This will let you know if your return has been accepted or not.

It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks for the IRS to update. Until the IRS starts processing it on their own, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund?  tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

 Note: You will need your social security number, filing status, and refund amount in order to track your Federal refund.

If after 21 days of being accepted, you have not received an update via the Where's My Refund tool, you can follow the instructions in the following FAQ to contact the IRS for further assistance.
