I've already filled out my taxes for 2018 but I'd like to try out the turbotax card instead of direct deposit. Is this possible?

If you have not filed yet, you can open up your tax return, click on File on the left menu and go through the screens until you come to the screen that asks ''How do you want your refund?''.   From there, choose the Turbocard option instead of a direct deposit and you will be prompted to apply.

If you have already filed, you will need to wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected.  If accepted, you can't make the request as the IRS already has your return.   If it is rejected, it is as if you have not filed yet and you can go back and change your selection and apply for the Turbocard as described above.
