I used turbotax online last year, using application on computer this year. Need to recalculate last year's return

Please explain what all you are doing.

What do you mean by "recalculate last year's return?"    Are you referring to a 2017 return, and if so, was the 2017 return never filed, or are you saying you need to prepare a formal amended return Form 1040X to correct a 2017 return that you filed last year?

What year software do you have on your computer?  2017 or 2018?   Have you downloaded the *.tax2017 data file from your online account?
