I thought we could ask questions today on site re amended returns

If my 1040 schedule D looks Incorrect, do I need to file an amended return if it doesn’t change the bottom Line?

The answer depends on what needs to be changed with the Schedule D.  If the changes would affect any losses that were carried into your 2024 tax return or any losses that are carried forward to 2025, then you do need to file the amended return to make sure those numbers are correct.
