I sent a check for my taxes due in April and it has not been cashed How do I know if they received it?

When they get checks they cash them ... so you can  wait and see if they do eventually cash it  OR   cancel the check & pay online directly @ www.IRS.gov/pay   OR  wait for the bill in the mail.
