I recieved a form 13873-T from the IRS stating my address doesnt match their records. I recently moved. What can I do to fix this?

Also, I recently received a Form 1098-T from my college. Block 2 has $1,935 listed as my expense and in block 8 there is an "X" indicating I was at least half-time. Can I add this to my taxes to get the education tax benefit?

You can file Form 8822 informing the IRS of your new address.

If you received the 13873-T because you requested a copy of a prior year tax transcript, you should file form 4506-T and pay special attention to lines 3 and 4. Make sure you report your new address on line 3, and the address from the year of the transcript you request on line 4.

If you are not a dependent to someone else, you can report the 1098-T and, if eligible, apply for an education credit.

Box 2 reports what the school billed, you will need to check your records and report what you paid in 2016.
