I received my 2021 state refund but have not yet received my 2020 state refund. I've heard nothing about it either. What should I do?

I accessed my Maryland state help page and sent 5 emails to which I received 5 responses saying my refund was under a quality assurance review and since I stopped emailing (in September 2021) I've heard nothing else, through email, mail or otherwise.

Contact the state.   Only the state can give you any information.   TurboTax does not get any information from the state after you file your return.

@lastchance0613  TurboTax does not have any information on your income tax situation once your return has been filed.  Because of privacy issues, the IRS and state will only contact the taxpayer.  I suggest reaching out to the Maryland Department of Revenue. 

 

Call 1-800-MD TAXES or 410-260-7980 from Central Maryland. Telephone assistance is available 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Comptroller of Maryland offers extended hours February 3 - April 15, 2020 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. for telephone assistance.
