I received an email, supposedly from the IRS, saying, out of the blue, that I had a refund due. After I snapped a picture of the email, it disapeared. Is this a scam?

The IRS doesn't email or text or call you. They only send letters by mail. I would ignore it. Probably scam. Are you waiting for a tax refund?
