I received a W-2 from a previous employer, I only made $270 from them in 2017 and only had $30 worth of taxes. Do I need to amend my return to add this information?

Yes, you will likely need to amend your return to include the W-2 that was not part of your original return as the IRS requires ALL income to be reported on your return.

However, at this point, you will need to wait until your return is accepted or rejected by the IRS.  If your return is accepted, you will need to follow these steps to Amend Your Return when the 1040X becomes available in TurboTax.  If your return is rejected, you will not need to amend as you can just add the W2 at the same time you correct the rejection reason.
