I received a letter from the Ga Department of Revenue stating that my refund amount had been approved but subject to audit verification. What does this mean? Audit?

No, you are not being audited. GA uses that standard language on all its correspondence. 

You would receive a letter of Proposed Adjustments (GA's name for an audit) if you were being audited.
