You need to enter the interest paid to you in TurboTax by using the following menu tabs:

  1. Federal
  2. Income and Expenses
  3. Interest and Dividends
  4. 1099-INT

Work through that section to report your interest income.

I is clear how to enter a new INTEREST item.

If you received a letter from the IRS that states that they are paying you interest, you'll receive a 1099-INT form from them and enter that in your tax return.

Read the letter; they may say that they added the interest to your Refund.

If you can provide more details, we'll try to help.
