I received a federal refund in 2018 - do I report that as income on my 2018 New York State tax return, and if so, where do I enter it in turbotax?

The federal refund is not taxable income. You do not enter it into your returns

thank you!  one other question - on the Deduction and Credit page of the fed part of my turbotax, for "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid" the number entered = the total amount of all my fed/state/nyc amounts combined that were withheld (per my w-2) in 2018. is that correct? or does that refer to other amounts (I have none).  Where else would the total taxes I paid go on the deduction and credit page?
