I received a email that turbomax got a letter from the IRS regarding my refund

You will want to confirm that this was an actual communication from TurboTax. Please see Avoid phishing scams and spoofed sites for more information and a link to the Intuit Security Center where you can report any suspicious emails or notifications you received. 

The IRS does not notify TT; it only notifies you (the taxpayer).

You might have got a general email from Turbo Tax about a situation in your return you might need to fix.   That didn't come from the IRS.   What all did the email say?  They have sent out several emails about different things.
