I purchased PLUS benefits, but I cannot access prior year returns. Not sure where I went wrong. Any help?

I purchased PLUS benefits to access prior year returns. But I am still unable to access them after purchasing, it's asking for me to purchase. Any help would be appreciated please.

You can get free Federal transcripts here:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Log in and look at your account ... did you see the prior year returns in that account at the bottom of the home screen ?

Did you upgrade to PLUS  &  PAY  the Plus fee in the same account where the prior year returns are ?
