I paid my taxes last year- just received a notice stating that I owe more- what do I do?

"Accepted" and "approved" are not the same thing.   So----not sure where you saw the word "approved."   You do not mention what the IRS said to you about why you owe more.  They would have sent you a letter that explained.

Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.
