I paid in $2125 for my federal taxes, filed and paid on time. Now here we are several months later, and I just got a check for $2135.30 cents?

Note on the check says 12/2019 return, $10.30 interest. It looks real, has watermarks, etc.

Check all the lines on your return.

Did you make estimated payments and forget to enter them?

If you made estimated payments see if they are on line 18d. Sometimes they end up line 17 with witholding. If that is the case the IRS will eventually see line 17 is wrong and ask for it back.

They should be sending you a letter explaining it.
