I owed money on my taxes for 2018 and paid through turbo tax. My card was never run for the bill however.

Contact IRS to see if you owe them any taxes for the year in question. You do not want to have outstanding taxes due where interest and penalties will accrue.

It was this year, that is what I am trying to avoid.
