I noticed Turbo Tax took the Itemized deduction for me. I didn't think you could deduct state and local taxes that were already included on the w2?

state and local taxes reported as withheld on a w-2,1099, or other tax form are a Schedule A deduction under the taxes  section.  There is no problem with what Turbotax did.
