I need to know what is going on with my taxes i mailed my papers and when i check it it says they haven't received it yet and that was almost two months ago

Do ypu know what is taking so long and why do they say that they have no information on it?

It could take 4-6 weeks and sometimes it may take even longer for the IRS to process a mailed return. Currently, there is a backlog of millions of returns that the IRS is working to process.
