I need to fix my state return but the app just says it is accepted

Maybe amend?  

Once it's accepted, you won't be able to edit it anymore. 

Once you have e-filed your tax return, you cannot make any changes.  Once it is processed and you receive your refund, you can file an amendment through TurboTax.
