I need to edit my return (not amend) but I can't open or view it without Premium.

I received additional forms after completing my return because they were mailed late. I have to file by mail and haven't mailed it yet, so the website says not to amend, but rather to open it and make any needed changes. I can't do that without paying for Premium, apparently. Suggestions on what to do?

Since you have not yet mailed out the return, then yes, you are right you do not need to amend the return.

To get back into the account

  1.  Sign in to your account with the same login you used to file your return.
  • If you can't remember, go here so we can help you get log in.
  • Once you're signed in, click Taxes in the top-left corner. This will take you to your Tax Timeline.
  • Scroll to the bottom for Some things you can do. From here, click on "Add a State" (you really will not be adding a state this is just a way to get back into the return without amending).

You can make the changes and continue to print and file once you are done with your changes, you can even choose to e-file if you wish.

I did this, but it's telling me I have to upgrade to premium to file them.
