I need to e-file my state but had to redo the entry of my federal bc I accidentally deleted the file. It won't let me. It says I need to e-file my federal first

You do not need to put e-file, you can select print and mail as an option, then you can continue on with the filing process and then e-file your state return when you get to that section.
