I need to amend my tax return I mess something up on it why is it saying that I can’t amend it until March 25?

TurboTax says that the amendment forms are usually processed mid February but it’s making me wait until March to be able to even amend it?

That's the earliest the iRS says the form will be ready.  besides, you can't file an amended 2020 federal return until the original is fully processed.

Okay it says that it has already been accepted, so does that mean I’m going to get my return and then have to amend it or can I amend it before I actually receive my return? I’ve never done it so I don’t know how that works.
