I need to amend a tax return but my address has changed since I originally filed this return. Can I enter my new address in the amended return?

My address has changed since originally filing and I need to amend a return for other reasons. what do I do?

Use the address that you want the IRS or state to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.

Update the address in the MY INFO tab.
