I need a copy of my 1099 form where can I find it?

There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's.   What kind are you looking for?

 

  A 1099NEC is typically issued by an individual or business for whom you performed work as an independent contractor, so seek a copy from them if you did not save yours.  Many of the other types of 1099's are issued by banks, brokerages and other financial institutions from which you can seek copies.

 

 

TurboTax does not have copies of your 1099's.   But the data entered from them is in your worksheets.

The system is now in transition from 2020 to 2021, so you cannot get to all of those worksheets right now.  You can only print out the forms and schedules needed to file by mail, until the transition is complete sometime in late November/ early December 2021.

A Wage and Income Transcript from the IRS will list the information from all the various 1099-series forms that were issued to you, but not in the format of the actual form. You can get a transcript free at the following link. You want a Wage and Income transcript, not a Tax Return Transcript.
