I must have made a typo when selecting the payment withdrawal date for my state taxes. How can I correct this? My state tax return has been accepted by my state.

I went back into view my filing forms for State tax and now I see that the date entered is: Date of Withdrawal: 04/30/2021.... That is not what I intended to enter.   Any suggestions on how to correct this...and allow my state to withdraw the amount much sooner.

If your state return has been accepted, you won't be able to change the Direct Debit date. It's like putting a letter in the mailbox. You can't retrieve it. Contact your state Department of Revenue to see what you should do.

I suppose I could have entered that date.  But, I doubt it.    Why would I enter a date of April 30th?    If TurboTax auto filled that date in... (why in the heck would they do that?)    I contacted my state income tax department and they want their money by April 15th.
