All income must be reported. The good news is that you will not have to pay self employment tax on that income.

What does that mean and how does that work?

Awesome Champ @Bsch4477  means the IRS requires taxpayers to report all taxable income, no matter how small. The IRS says: “Generally, an amount included in your income is taxable unless it is specifically exempted by law. Income that is taxable must be reported on your return and is subject to tax.”

See: What is Taxable and Nontaxable Income?

Income from self-employment, including DoorDash, has an additional rule. Since no tax was withheld when you earned your money, you will have to pay self-employment tax if your self-employment earnings after deductions was $400 or more.

See: Who Must Pay Self-Employment Tax?

Since you earned $11, you have to pay income tax but not self-employment tax (below $400).
