I'm trying to find last year's Depreciation and Amortization report. There are other with instructions on how to find, but I don't see mine.

I download all the docs associated with the return, but do see that report.

The steps below should help you print your forms and worksheets.

You can print a copy of your return with the schedules and worksheets by following the below steps:

Sign in to your TurboTax online account

  • Scroll down and click "Add a State"  (This is just a way to get you back into your tax return)
  • Next select "Tax Tools" (left column) and then "Print Center"
  • Select "Print, save, or preview this year's return"
  • Check the boxes for your Federal and State returns (this will open further options)
  • Choose to include the government and TurboTax worksheets
  • Then click "View or Print Forms"

When I log in, I don't have an "Add a State" option. If I click Continue, I have the option to choose from different years, but the docs I can download from those, don't include that report.

To clarify, is this for a rental property or something else?

Do you see Form 4562?

Correct, Rental Property. I can't find a 4562 either. From what I read, Turbotax doesn't provide that and the next best thing is the Depreciation and Amortization report.

Form 4562 should be part of your return each and every year depreciation is claimed.

Please look at your prior year Schedule E line 18. Have you been claiming depreciation on the rental?

About Form 4562

“File Form 4562 with your individual or business tax return for any year you are claiming a depreciation deduction or making a Section 179 election. When you claim depreciation, it’s incredibly important that you retain copies of all 4562's and depreciation schedules so you can track your prior deductions and claim the appropriate amount in future years.”
