I'm trying to edit the 1040 D I entered for my crypto gains/losses. I did not file yet, so I don't need to amend it. I can't find the 1040 D form anywhere

You must go back to the Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto) and edit from there.

Schedule D cannot be accessed directly.
