I'm filing an amended return and it appears to be taking Turbotax a very long time, at least 10 minutes thus far, to do the final computation. Is there a problem?
My first question. I'm filing an amended return- What step in the process are you at? Initial entry or at the end - transmitting electronically. Bottom-line 10 minutes is far too long. But you also need to answer if you're utilizing the Turbotax online version or the purchased version. If online, several reasons why applications can be slow. And I would gage that Turbotax is near the bottom of the list. I have no ties to this company. Just 45 plus years as a techie and customer resource manager, helping with expectations with computing hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications.
