I'm currently unemployed. For big changes that happened last year what should as I put I didn't get a new job? I lost my job in November.

It's not an option and I want to be as specific as possible. Everything else is the same, I just lost my job in November and haven't been working since.

Those introductory questions have no effect on your actual tax return.  They might just lead to certain interview screens later.  Just make sure you enter all of your 2022 income correctly.  There is no place on your tax return to enter that you lost your job in November or that you did not find a new one yet.

If you received any unemployment compensation in 2022, you will need to enter a 1099G for that.

You can just enter unemployed. What you enter is not all that important.

So should I just put "nothing has changed"? I received no unemployment.
